As many of you know, I am a huge San Jose Sharks fan! I have been following the team for 10+ years, and will continue to cheer them on for many many years to come!!
After one of the BEST seasons in San Jose Sharks history and winning the President’s Trophy (Most Points in the NHL), the Sharks were eliminated by the Anaheim Ducks in Game 6 of Round 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs…It was one of the most disappointing playoff exits ever, but also one of the most unemotional eliminations as well (for me anyways…I’m usually sobbing like a baby!). The Sharks hadn’t been playing that well since February, but they still ended up as the #1 team in the NHL…unfortunately that “not so good” play carried over into the playoffs, and now the season is OVER! :( We were totally outplayed by Anaheim, and they deserved to win the series. Their goalie, Jonas Hiller, was amazing and their first line completely dominated compared to ours…and bottom line, they just had more heart than we did…they wanted it more, that’s what it really comes down to. It hurts, but hey…there is always next year, right?! :(
Anyway, I got the chance to go to Game 1 in San Jose (Thanks Justine!), so I just wanted to post a few photos from that game…The Sharks lost Game 1, 2-0 :(

So cool! I love the feel of these pictures. Makes me want to go to a hockey game. (Haven’t been in about two years!)

i hope so!! better get your butt to one next season! hehe. hockey season starts in October :) it’s the best sport ever!!
