wooo, I’m movin’ on up!

#3 out of 12 teams…yay!

and #6 out of 14 teams….will I ever be able to catch up to the #1 position?!

Jamaica was gorgeous and I wish we could have stayed longer! It was so much traveling for such a short trip, but I was still happy nonetheless :) The wedding took place at Hotel Riu Palace Tropical Bay in Negril, Jamaica. The rooms at the resort were very clean and quite stylish and the food was delicious as well :) I will post more photos at a later time…but for now I just wanted to share 2 photos with everyone. One is of the bride & groom who brought their “Terrible Towels” with them from Pittsburgh and the other is a photo of Janel and I that we had the bride take for us because of the beautiful pink sky in the background! Of course we took the bride and groom’s photo with the pink sky as well ;) It was amazing and sadly the photo does not do it justice.

I am leaving in a few hours to go to Jamaica to help my good friend Janel at Focus Photography shoot a wedding! and I couldn’t be more excited!! I’ll post more when I get back at the end of the week….

I decided to start back up with fantasy hockey this season, after taking a few years off from it…and I thought it would be something fun to blog about on here. Not sure if anyone really cares, but it’s fun for me! haha.

So as of November 6th, I was #1 in one of my leagues out of 12 teams!! But as of today I am #8 out of 12 :(

and as of November 6th in my other league, I was #7 out of 14 teams, but I am currently #4 out of 14 teams! :)

I am a bit behind here in the blog posting, haha…but just wanted to say that the cruise was amazing and my favorite stop was definitely St. Maarten!

Last week I was in San Antonio, Texas to photograph the 2009 National Sales Meeting for Pepperidge Farm. My cousin, Jay, works for Pepperidge Farm and because he put in a good word for me, they decided to hire me as the photographer for the week long event! So a big thank you to Jay!! :) I am posting a lot of the photos from the Tuesday night Kickoff Event because those are the most fun :) But I also posted a few from the actual meetings and from the Merit Awards Dinner/Event. Enjoy!

….and I couldn’t be more excited!! hehe. I really hope the Sharks can kick some major butt this year and continue that on into post-season…no more choking in the playoffs, okay guys?! :) We have a new Captain this year, Rob Blake. I was honestly a bit surprised, but hopefully it’ll work out! Our previous Captain, Patrick Marleau, has already scored 3 goals in the first 2 games, so I’m enjoying that :) GO SHARKS!!

Also, I decided to join 2 fantasy hockey leagues this season, so I’ll keep you updated on my progress throughout the season :) It’s been a few years since I’ve played, so hopefully I’m not terrible!

Let me just start off by saying that Dave and Trisha are probably one of the most perfect clients for me – super sweet and HUGE San Jose Sharks fans?! Love it!! :)  Dave and Trisha got married at The Corinthian Event Center in downtown San Jose. It was a perfect summer day so I’m glad we were able to make it outside for some photos (since their wedding took place indoors). A special thanks to Janel for being my second shooter and to Dima for referring Dave and Trisha to me! :)

Loren and Sara got married at Loren’s parents’ house in Mission Viejo, CA. The ceremony and reception took place in their backyard and I thought it turned out so cute! I loved the colors of pink and green that they used in the decor/flowers…bright colors photograph so well! The whole day was overcast too which made for some amazing lighting for the photos!
